Spring is on its way!

So, I woke up this morning and noticed how bright the sun was coming in from the bedroom window. It looks like Spring is finally on its way at last!

It's been a busy week for Mommy and Daddy. In addition to working, they hung Daddy's mother's antique Tiffany chandelier that he inherited in the dining room, and they reupholstered the dining chairs. Their dining table and chairs are pre-1920 Duncan Phyfe that was manufactured in Chicago. It goes nicely with their 1922 made sideboard server, which was also made in Chicago. Duncan Phyfe is most famous for his simple style, a reaction to the imported French designs popular at the time. In addition to the home where I live with Mommy and Daddy, Duncan Phyfe's furniture can be seen in the White House Green Room.

I'm happy Spring is coming, because that means there will be more song birds and bunnies that I can watch playing in the yard from my indoor living room window perch. Have a happy day!
