Mommy finally got the bistro table and chairs out onto the side patio that faces the Highway that goes by our home. I think it looks nice and adds some charm to the side of the house. You can see some photos Mommy took the other day of the bistro set outside our house below ...

Happy Saturday!
Sorry I haven't posted for a while. I've been feeling much better this past week, so finally got the energy to come into Mommy's studio in our home library area and type up this blog entry.

When Mommy got done taking the photos outside, she came in and snapped the photo below of the shelf that hangs over the window in the breezeway overlooking the patio with the bistro set on it.
And when she came into the house from the breezeway, she snapped the photo below looking into the kitchen area.
And the photo below she took showing off the kitchen table area ...
The photo below shows a close-up of one of the things Mommy got Daddy for a wedding anniversary present on August 9 of this year. It is a group of antique German tiles that Mommy had framed for Daddy.
And, when Mommy came out of the kitchen she found me hiding under the antique sideboard sofa table that serves as a nice divider between the family room and the formal living room.

As you can see by the dark photos above and below, I was trying to hide from Mommy, but she found me and took these photos ...
Anyway, hope you have a great week ahead! ~ Robert

Happy Thursday!
Hi there! I am feeling much better today. More energetic and a bit more like my old self. So, that is some good news! I appreciate all the well-wishes when I was feeling under the weather.
I'm just hanging out with Mommy today. After work, Daddy headed to Omaha to visit his friend David Irving who is speaking there today. David is a WWII historian who lives in Europe. So, when he is in the area, Daddy and him usually get together briefly.
Wishing you a delightful rest of the week and upcoming weekend!!! ~ Robert

Mommy's cousin's baby and her baby ...
So, Mommy's cousin, Carolyn, recently sent her some lovely photos of her daughter, Cassondra, who is currently expecting a baby boy named Benjamin. Thought I'd share the beautiful photos with you ...
Cassondra at 23 weeks. Carolyn told Mommy that Cassondra is glowing. Mommy says Cassondra looks beautiful. I agree!!!
Above is a photo of the proud-parents-to-be: Cassondra and Brandon. Everyone in the family, including my Daddy and Mommy, are excited with eager anticipation about Benjamin's soon arrival!

Happy weekend!!!
Hi there! I'm back home now from the animal hospital and feeling much better now. My uncles Loren and Claire came over this afternoon and helped hang some more paintings on the walls in my home. The photos below are of a Magpie that my aunt Judith painted and Mommy had framed recently. Daddy hasn't seen it all framed and hanging on the wall in the dining room yet so he will be thrilled to see it, I know.

Hi there! It's another bright, sunny day! I appreciate you stopping by my blog today and checking it out. ~ Robert

The Four O'Clocks alongside the patio continue to grow, as do the potted lavender plants, as you can see by the photos above and below ...

After momentarily shocking out from being transplanted, the ferns between the Hostas alongside the house, are perking up again as you can see by the photos above and below ...

The Clemitis vines are growing a little more behind the arbor in the back yard.

The Niagra grape plants in Daddy's mini-vineyard are also growing a little taller, as you can see by the photo above.
The flowers in the window boxes on the garden shed and the rhubarb patch behind the garden shed continue to prosper.
Meanwhile, Daddy continues to work on the construction of the new fence for the backyard and garden area.
And, I stayed inside our air conditioned home and helped Mommy tend to the laundry, as you can see by the photo below ...
